I honestly don't like it. I think hate is a strong word but it's a lot more accurate than love.

I'm a big fan of starchild which are the people behind FLCL and Abenobashi so I like Evangelion too.

Nothing special, but enough to keep me watching. Still, I'm leaning more towards hate.

I believe this should be in the mecha section. And frankly I think it sucks...hard. The story line is boring and uninteresting and Im not a huge fan of seeing Asuka half naked every 5 1/2 seconds.

<_< I've seen it 17 times, and the movie 4 times. I love it. I do not feel it should be shown on AS, because it has been my observation that AS fans have no idea how much symbolism and allusions are being used in this show, both toward several different religions, as well as the human psyche. To properly view this show, one must not take it literally and have a lot of external knowledge. The problem is, a lot(and I mean a very large percentage) of AS fans do not seem to have that external knowledge, and view everything in a 100% literal way.

Well in all honesty I'd have to say I love it, the religiousness woven into the series adds quite a bit of class I'd say.

Evangelion is a great anime. just that it's technology makes it bad against Gundam. I like the storyline. But I never finish seeing the whole story.

It is a good anime but i have to totally disagree with you, it may seem to have religous themes and background but actually it does not. Its taken some old stories like adam and eve and changed them to entertain. It has no real religous reference.
