i am the authority for this topic...without and shadow's gadgets they r eqully matched...shadow the hedgehog looks cooler then sonic because he is a dark hero...and shadow has all of sonic's moves...but sonic has all of shadow's moves...they can both trigger chaos control...but when it comes down to when they r loaded with their stuff...shadow without a doubt is the winner in speed!...inpower...even without his chaos emerald it would be shadow...because he can tap into the chaos force...however, sonic needs an emerald...even a fake one will do it...but over all old school to new skool is pretty much even...but of course...shadow is better!

When u say Shadow, do you mean the orignal Shadow or Shadow Android?
Sonic has a chance of defeating the orignal Shadow, but agianst Shadow Android the chances r slim

I think sonic is faster, cooler, and just plain better than shadow. I like blue better than red and black, and sonic is indipendant and carefree. (like me! lol)
Also, he fights for justice and does'nt need to use weapons like shadow.

Shadow the Hedgehog has substance to him. His character has depth, whereas Sonic is a shallow, cardboard cut-out. Shadow had a mysterious past to struggle with and overcome. Shadow is the reason I play Sonic Games.
