I prefer to think of god as being genderless. There are different versions of god but my interpretation has no gender, giving god a gender is just one of religion's more frivolous purposes.

Look giving god a gender is just a way for people to more humanize a being whose knowledge and power would litterally make all of our heads implode. Do you really think "he" would give "himself" the restrictions and flaws of either gender? Because both genders are conceited in their own way. Regardless of your reasoning, or what is or isn't true, trying to pin a gender on god is just as pointlessly time consuming as hitting your head against the wall but the latter actually produces some kind of result while the former does absolutely nothing for anyone, good or bad.

In my opinion, if god does indeed exist, he is omnisexual and omnidimensional. In that he made all races and creatures in his own image, then he must in fact be every shape, form, type, way, existance, plane, name, life, death, and even a destroyer as he is a creator. God, as we call this ultimate supernatural force, is too almighty for simple 'what gender is it? LOLMAO' to describe. Your god, however, along with Buddha, Allah, Odin, what have you is a single, amazing entity in the universe. Sex does not matter.

I will also recap to you all that god has no gender for a simple purpose- gender is a reason to procreate. To put a gender on anything and everything is a human and unrealistic thought. There is no Mr. and Mrs. God. There's no other gods for God to go partying with at night and then come back. There's god, singular and omnipotent. Nothing more can be said.

I've been studying Islam for most of my life so I'm telling you this:
In Islam, women have their full rights except that Muslims these days don't see it as that!! They favour tradition on religion! And because of their stupid tradition, some of Muslims think women have no rights, just simply cause men is number one in society! Woman in particular countries wear burkha or whatever it's called (I don't know either) is because of their tradition. Islam didn't demand women to cover their whole body from head to toe with black!!
This religion doesn't favour a sex! If you read books about Islam, you'll know that!!
Being deemed property by men was something existed long time ago before Islam. They don't do that any more except for few ignorant people.

Oooohh, you know this thing reminds me of a book I read. I forgot what it was called, but it had a lot of inspiring stories in it. o.o My favourite one was about this boy, who went to a Christian School, and was told that he was idiotic for thinking God was female. He was bullied, beat-up, etc., even the teachers didn't really care for him. oO He wasn't emo or anything, but... well, he was ordinary. An ordinary boy with peculiar ideas.
Anyways, you guys are funny. Fighting about the gender of God. All you need to know is that God is God and nobody else. Why? Because he's neither genderless, or has a gender. He just is. I read another book, that said God was all around us. Just because he doesn't appear to us, in a form of man or woman, doesn't mean he isn't there, or that he's ignoring us. It just means that he can't appear to you the way you want him to. I mean, there are different forms of God for every religion, right? Man, woman, animal, blahblahblah? Right. So anywho, God can be everything and nothing at once. So he therefore IS. o_O
