That's not really correct, since nobody knows the release date of the PS3.
Although, I'm quite confident that the Xbox 360 is a better console than the PS3. And I just love the Xbox 360

We won't know this for months. The PS3 isn't even out yet, how the Hell do you determine which is better without seeing both consoles first hand?

And just because the 360 is out first doesn't mean a damn thing. The Nintendo gamecube did VERY well against the PS2, and that came out a year after (The xbox took a good 6 months before it really started to pick up)

Thats not true, for all we know the PS3 will be a ticking time bomb that will explode if you play for too long.

As for the fire starting...Some 360's did, than again almost every system has some faulty units when it's first released.

Still...I think Sony are holding the PS3 back to see what microsoft are doing wrong, then try not to make the same mistakes.

Right now, they are experiencing problems that the Cell Processor are making.
And no, they're not holding it back.

Oh and for the fire subject, some PS2's also caught fire, until the power cord was replaced.

I played Xbox 360 at Gamestop and it's good, but probably PS3 is better. It is hard for me to decide

Like Halo 3 for an example. Go to The Underground forum on bungie.net, and all you will see is 'What do you want in Halo 3?' 'Where can I buy Halo 3?' 'Free Halo 3!!' 'Halo 3 will be soo cool!!!' 'Halo 3 rocks!'

The Playstation 3 is just the same, the only difference is that it's announced.

I have yet to experience any problem at all with my Xbox 360.
It's all hunky dory
