Heh, I've used that picture in couple wps..

Its good, a bit bland. The bg covers too much of him, maybe back it off a bit. Enlarge the picture too, theres so/too much empty space.
I like the effects though. Good start.

I agree with Raven. I think if you enlarge the picture, it won't seem as empty. The focal point could stand out a little more. I just think there's too much unused space.
But I love the effects. And the colors you used. <3
