DOA: Dead or Alive gets a major motion picture

DOA: Dead or Alive, the famous video game series has now been set up as a major motion picture. It will star Devon Aoki (fast and the furious 2,Sin City) as Katsumi. The movie is set for 2006, no specific date set. They already started filming at the beginning of 2005. Have fun everyone...don't have high expectations.

I dont think this is the kinda game that would suite a movie, maybe Ein finding out that he is Hayate might be a good part of the story, maybe the whole ninja side of things would kick ***, but bass and zack and all the non important characters would make it kinda suck.

I've seen a trailer already and from what I can tell it has nothing to do with the games, just the same characters >< well... the female characters anyways. It looks like a fanservice movie for guys... I couldn't see any of the male characters... So I don't think i'll be looking forward to this movie personally although I'm a fan of the games lol.

I disagree with this movie, it seems like so much crap, though the trailer posted for this movie is dated from a few months back and the announcement for it was more than 2 years back. In other words it's all old news... very old news, to me anyway. ^^;

This is certainly one movie where pretty girls ain't gonna cut it, it all seems like another Charlies Angels plus more girls. Fighting is boring and dull and seems like a family movie. The DOA4 intro movie has more action and blood than this does, heck even the DOA3 intro also.

Another thing wroung with it is it appears the girls are fighting together when half of them are enemies and don't even like each other.. Kasumi + Ayane = bad blood, Christie + Helena = bad blood... etc..

Costumes don't even resemble that of the games ones, this is really only playing on the sex appeal of the characters.
