Great! Something that sano really knows about! Well, to tell the truth...in the WWF days, Vince actually had competition, so he had to try and make a better show! Some were better than others, but as long as that other guy had a show, Vince was going to try. Now, the market, for all intents and purposes, is cornered. Vince is the king, which is horrible for the subjects. All your wrestling memories are owned by Vince...the other guy was not better, but at least you had a choice. Sano would like to know what the rest of you think.

Meh. Do you guys realize that it is the same company? Actually a lot of the WWF shows were over the top. WWE just happened because Vince did not want to fight for the letters W-W-F as they were being used by the World Wildlife Fund or some other such group. The WWE that is happening now is a result of the "Get it?" campaign that sano hated. Sano does not know what you mean by "cheesy", but sano thinks that the level of matches may have gotten a little bit better. The only problem is that they are accompanied by a lot of crap talking and other such rubbish. This is another opinion thread, but sano can say this....The Rock under WWF or WWE=wack!!! *braces for impact* You wanted a reply?

Well during the time of the union they had Invasion, which was probally the best event I have seen. But probally when it was WWF days.

WWE ALL THE WAY BABY...also how can u say u cant like the new people. like Batista and John Cena! even though he got traded over to raw which really sucks! alot of new people are starting a life for them to get started in the wwe or the wwf. it doesnt matter, there all good in some way except for JBL HE SUCKS

JBL does suck....hahaha. that is only an opinion, though. Some new guys are just popular, though and not really good wrestlers. Like Triple H...he is an awesome wrestler, but he usually does stupid things like hitting people with a sledgehammer. On the other hand, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Chris Masters need to go back to wrestling school. For the record, Mickie James is the favorite female wrestler of sano. It used to be Victoria. meh.

Vince did fight to keep the letters WWF. He lost that case over seas.
The WWWF, WWF & WWE are all the same company, but with different bookers and writers. It was wrestling when it was the WWWF, with little sports entertainment. The wrestlers were over with the fans by ther abilities, and ther acomplishments. They are the ones that worked 7 days a week and 8 or 9 shows working twice a day sometimes.

When Vince purchased the company from his father (WWWF) he turned it into sports entertainment (Titan Sports). Then later he changed the Name from WWWF to WWF. A lot of the guys that were around then are not now. The storylines are cheesy and suck because they are unbelievable. They lost a lot of credibility in the media due to there major sex scandals with little boys, and drug abuse and Vinces personal sex scandal and steroid issues. Vince Kept most of the scandals hidden and closed before the news media could pick up on them. Just goes to show you that money can buy your way out of things in small towns. No other sport has such a high level of deaths in it, due to steroids and other drugs to enhance the body.

The present version that everyone thinks is good and etc... it isn't. The talent they have now can't draw flies. They used to be able to sell out every city monthly. Now they cant hold a event in every city anymore because they do not get the turnouts to make the show pay for itself. Madison Square Garden was considered the Mecca of all wrestling events. They hardly even hold shows there anymore. That arena was sold out monthy for years and years. Hulk Hogan couldn't even sell it out monthly because he was a media champion. Meaning he couldnt do anything but talk. So they kept him out of the big arenas unless it was a pay per view. They kept him with the media and kept 90% of his matches short. But even he blew it with the media by lying to many times to them. The talk shows didnt even want him on there shows anymore after his appearance on the Arsenio Hall talk show where he blatantly lied to the them and the public about his steroid useage. He lost more credibility when he was able to get out of a supena for a court trial dealing with his illegal drug purchases and useage. All records of his buying illegal substances and how much he paid, and how much he made, was all sealed up in Harrisburg, PA in the famous Zahorian trial. Zahorian is the doctor that was selling drugs to the football players, wrestlers, and a few other sport athletes.

Wrestling looks popular in TV by Vinces ability of marketing. But it will never return to what it was before, because to much has changed for it to go back. Society teaches us what a pretty girl is to look like. Vince (WWE) teaches us what wrestling is to be.

Titan sports, WWE, Vince McMahon.. what ever you wish to refer to it as. do not sell you wrestling. They sell you merchandising. That was the goal of Vince and Linda McMahon when they took over. They knew the money was in Merchandising

^Have you realized noone cares? It may be fake, but the stuff wrestlers do is incrediblely hard to fake (Well, some stuff). Give me a video of you doing a shooting star press on someone WITHOUT hurting them (or you) onto wood (yes, the ring is made out oof wood) and come back to talk to me Anyways, the good ol days of course. The "golden" ages were awesome. Rock and Sock, DWX, Stone Cold, Mchman family fued, etc.

I love WWF.. the year of the D-generation X and beyond that the greatest shows.. like the Bret Hart Shawn Michaels days.

The greatest moment in WWF would have to be when Vince sort of defeated four other guys in the ring by throwing them over the ring.. and ripping his already ripped for him shirt.. then Stone Cold comes and distracts him.. then Chyna comes and closelines his sorry butt really good that he flipped so hard right over for a fast launch but his head was caught on the bottom rope that it was slung back and off the ring

XD Gam, one of the great moments of wrestling. The funny part, when Vince was caught, that wasn't suppose to happen but as they say on tv, its reality, and if something happens, he "meant" to do that.
