dvds to my psp

so I just got a psp, and now i want to put my dvds onto the memory card so i can watch them on the bus to work. now i found a program called xcopy9 (http://psptransfer.com/) however buying the psp made me kinda broke, does anyone have a cheaper(like free) alternative? also i have not heard much about the program, so even if i do end up needing to buy it can someone tell me if its a good program or if they would recomend a better one.

Since I have no PSP, I have no idee (a).
But I do think you need to get movies on UMD discs, I'm not entirely sure though.

I got that program! It's awesome! I'm the perfect person to answer your woes, because I've tried all the free alternatives and none of them worked nearly as well. Xcopy9 makes it super-easy and fast and the compression is really efficient so you can fit a lot of stuff on your memory stick. Definitely recommend it.

what memory stick do you need to download one movie

It really depends. It takes around 300mb, but you can also xfer w/o the extras on the DVD, which cuts off like 100mb, and then there are three different levels of compression you can choose and that estimate is the highest, so you could go lower I bet.

I got no idea. I have no PSP. You should of waited for the price to drop & get a PSP next time.
