America: Recent Events

Post here your opinions or just plian facts on the recent events of America, no bashing other people for their beliefs, and another point please no calling names on either side unless you have a reason for it such as facts. I changed the name and put up a new topic due to the fact it was pissing a few of the admins/mods off, I didnt really want it to be a mock election I should have worded it differently -_- but w/e here ya go!!!

current events, such as the hurricanes, the war, oil prices etc. CURRENT events ^.^

I think its kinda freaky that we've had two massive hurricanes so close together, and that they were different ones. And didn't a tornado touch down in some random state like Florida? Next thing you know Washington's going to have its long overdue earthquake and break off from the rest of the states.

Yeah, the hurricanes are starting to devastate our country... and whether I consider that laughable or worrisome, I'm still divided about. There was another cell forming around the Baja California Peninsula, and they've already evacuated those on lower elevations away from the shores.

Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if all the Witnesses in the world suddenly concluded that the Apocalypse is nearing. o.O

I'm closing this for two reasons.

One - It seems like you're determined to get into a political debate so you keep re-wording the topic until we'll let it go. For that reason alone I'm annoyed by the topic and want to close it but there is more;

Two - To make a general thread on every current event would require the mods/admins to close all the threads about all the other current events and would result in so much "Off-topic" discussions that could not be sorted out that the topic would become a mess.

If you're determined to argue a Kerry - Bush debate, an anime forum likely isn't going to have your best results, especially since the election is past. And We all know hindsight is 20/20.
