ffXII not released this year

from what i heard from zayio he was at a local gamestop store and he talked to some dude that apparenty know this square enix crap but what i know the game was half way to being made but the production was stoped because the creator was pissed at the story line so they remade or did some editing ... defenetly setting due date not this x-mas but much much later like maybe june--- and thats just in japan. Meaning that it would take another half year to translate and reprogram the damn game... anyone have any info or feeling post right away...

Yeah, its unfortuant, but to be exbected. This happens a lot, games get delayed. By the way, the new release date here in the US is 03/01/06. But of course...it will probably be delayed again.

the average expirience:the ffX was released in japan and after about 6-8 months brought a devistating debut in the US. the game sold over 10 mil copies during its release... we all know that the ffx-2 the sequel was not as good but still made a big impact on US and more or less in Japan... maybe from the bad sequel of current ff we can only hope that " Cartman's don't let anyone in the park" works if u know what im talking about, then hope the best from the new 12 because from all the fuss and all the info we've been hearing from internet chat and basic anime/gaming news, IT BETTA BE GOOD!

That totally sucks!!!!

I want FFXII out right away. Why does FFXII have to be so long to be released, not this year. Then I would wait for eternally just to see the FFXII or preview it. Well then, I hope that it will come out at least next year then. But I want it to have a better and unique story ever. So please

make it come out at least the beginning of next year.

Yeah that really does suck. But I heard how the battle system was going to be. I wished they would modify that while there doing the storyline too. The battle system isn't going to be traditional, I guess it's going to be a kinda like Vagrant Story except for you react with your enviroment, but I guess that's how the creator wants it because he made Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics, so oh well I guess.

It might, it might not. Squaresoft hasnt been the same since its merger.

They have been exactly the same since the merger, games with zero replay value, games with story lines that people love to say "Are the greatest in the world" without playing anything else or story-lines that are just plain silly.

It's the fact they tend to only give the attention to other games, this delay is excellent. The game should never come out, give more attention to OTHER squaresoft and enix games.

I don't mind that it is being delayed so much because it means they are paying attention to the game and want us to like it! This is also good because it gives me and others some time to catch up on other games. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the Ps3 release is coming too soon. Now I feel forced to buy ps2 games before the 3 comes out. Now I have time to accumulate cash as well. Kingdom Hearts 2 is coming out end of this year so I will be plenty busy until FFXII comes out although I sincerely await its release.

This cant be right FFXII was supposed to be out on PS2 if its released next June thats when the PS3 is out which makes no sense

and apparently in the UK Kingdom Heats 2 is released next friday :S all screwed up if u ask me

Just because the PS3 is coming out doesn't mean there wont be any PS2 games being released. Besides, they started the game like 3 years ago, and designed it for PS2. So yes, its coming out for PS2.

Money does'nt matter when the company keeps on churning out the same trash year after year without any real changes.
People don't seem to look past Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts in general. There are far better products, but they know for a fact that their fans are so brainwashed into forming pointless loyalites towards them. They figured "Hey, we can slap the words "Final Fantasy" on to anything and these people will pay for it! First up. If you review any of my posts, I don't and have not gone about calling people stupid or fools for posting opinions except for things that are clearly annoying and untrue.

What do you mean I don't like Square Enix? As you can CLEARLY see , my title and location speak at an anti-final fantasy point of view. They simply are'nt the best. I dislike Final Fantasy since it's not worth all the hype it churns up with the fanboy coma inducing moderate "remakes".
My problem with Square Enix is that they are taking the square approach towards the gaming market, while the Enix approach is not to release to any market that does'nt read Japanese.

You would think with a Merger, OTHER games made by BOTH would be getting more credit.

My years in Debate have tought me something, "Don't say anything unless you can back it up." Konami is not listed as a "Entertainment Provider" Since the Enix Portion of Square Enix has games only on the Wonderswan and WonderBorg, a system that would'nt live outside of it's home.

You cannot use current Fiscal Year "2005-2006- information since the Fiscal Year information is not completed as of yet (completed in Febuary.), we have'nt even entered the Second Quater let alone finished the Mid-Season.

Offside- Square-Enix is the last company to enter the Cell Phone Gaming Network. Although, they are the only ones making a tiny push towards the market outside of Japan since the rest of the world is'nt as "Wired".
