Tips for a neat banner.

Hello there everyone from this forum.

Here are the tips to make a neat banner:

- The size is minimum of 315 x 85 or 300 x 70 pixels.
- You need 2 or more pictures.
- Requirements from Photoshop 7.0 or higher.
- It is lesser than 20 KB.
- Needed a black border.
- Change the background picture to sepia.
- Different style of text.

Here is the example of my banner.

I can understand those and see how you did it in your example. However. I would like to know how to do Grunges :P or was it grudges?

You can make banners with just paint. It's really hard though.

You don't need paint if you have Photoshop. Paint is Trash. :/

I'm back. Well here is the sample I did.

I did make this one from Adobe Photoshop CS.

How to make this banner, especially my Kyousuke banner? Well that is easy.

1. First create a new file of 315 x 85 pixels.

2. here is the example of this image.



3. First crop this one to use the rectangular marquee tool to set 315 x 85 pixels.





4. Then crop this image using the polygonal lasso tool.




5. Then put it the one that you crop the image to the banner.

6. Transform both width and height by 50% then ok.

7. make sure the banner has changed to sepia.

8. Then change color to red 136, blue 0, and green 0.

9. Then do whatever you want any text from your banner.
10. Then border to make it black.
