Official Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana thread

This game was just released here in America recently. It is a great game, especially for anime/rpg fans. I am sure there is going to be many people posting here....probably like 2, but in either case, post whatever you want about this game!

Atelier Iris is a great game^^ But I haven't played it for a while now... I was posting in the AF o_O lol... I got the game quite long ago, maybe about 1 or 2 months ago ^^;;; It's quite challenging xD Good grahics, good storyline. Tons of things to do. Well, that's about all I can remember about the game O_o I'll continue playing it soon xD

Gah, I agree! I love this game ^^ !! I just started playing it Thursday, and I'm already at the part in which you have to fight the Growloons in Poto's Forest to save Zeldalia.

Oh! That part was really fun ^_^ ! I recommend that...

 

when you fight the boss bandit and his goons, use Norn to put them all to sleep and finish 'em off one by one.

It made it much easier ~_^ .

Well, here is what I really like about the game.

The music is really great. Most areas have their own BGM, and they are all great. The sotryline of the game is awsome. Gameplay is unique; very non-linear, you can do many sidequests and such. Also on that note, there are over 400 side events that occur depending on your actions. Although serious, the story is also very lighthearted an humurous (much like a comedy Anime, but much better). The character designs are great, and each has their won unique personality that conflict with others. The character develpoment is pretty nice; many skills to upgrade, mana to equip, ect. Graphics a beautiful, although it is "2D". Also, if you ever played Star Ocean 2, the item creation in this game is way more in depth.

I can't really think of a reason to not get Atelier Iris. All of the graphics are hand drawn so needless to say that it's a beautiful game. AI:EM also many hours of gameplay. In fact...I have been playing it for a total of twenty hours and I think that maybe I'm almost halfway through it ^^;; .

Indeed, that is a very good one! Have it on my comp (downloaded it...didn't get the CD like some lucky people did when pre-ordering online). I also like the BGM in Poltos forest, not to mention like all the other Music in the game!

Kinda glad more people are getting into the game, or at least want to play it..

Meh, I know what you mean <<;; . The guy at Gamestop told me that I was gonna get one, but when they came in "Oh sorry. That was an 'online' only thing." Gah! Guess I'll have to order one then <<;; . Oh well. I didn't buy the game for the soundtrack anyway...Although it would've sweeten the deal T-T .

Well anyways, I hope the NIS America is gonna release Atelier Iris:Eternal Mana 2 here in the states ^^ !

Yeah, he said the same thing to me! And that was before the game was released, he said "Yeah, you will get the soundtrack!"...damn..

But, yeah, I hope they do too! It might not, though...cuz not many people are buying it (obviously, since there are soo many people posting here!
