what do you guys think of the dentist/orthodontisist?

i just came back from there i never today they were ruff like when they floss its like they were muntalating my gums!!!

but any way what do you guys think??

I don't mind going. XD... I've never had braces or dental problems... so it's not that big of a deal to me. I've actually considered becoming a dentist before. ^^

that happened to me i had two teeth growing in one spot when i was in elementry and they pulled it it wasnt even lose>_< but ofcourse after a couple shots of novacaine!!

I don't hate all dentists, but the dentist I visit is way too rough. He's very rude too; he makes insulting remarks every ten seconds. But anyone who sticks a big ol' needle in my mouth I'm not gonna like.

That depends on the dentist and the service. I've never had a cavity, but I have braces, so I have to go every month. Getting my braces tightened isn't a big deal, but those cleanings are brutal. They never keep it on the teeth, they're always poking my gums. A dentist with floss is a deadly thing. They'll just shove it between your teeth, splitting gums. However, I respect them. I'd hate to see a world without them.

I once had a terrible dentist who made me cry because I could feel EVERYTHING. When I say everything, I mean with two shots, I could feel him drilling, poking, pulling, etc. It was terrible.

All-in-all, if you find a good dentist, then its a good thing. Otherwise, hide.

I'd have to aggree with that as I had to have a lot of dental work done a few months ago and the dentist I went to didn't try and do all the work in one go and didn't just keep on going with the drill when it became painful

It's weird, cause all of my dentists are women. Everyone in that facility is a woman but the top leader is a guy (but he's kinda old and big) and all the woman are these cheery gossiping people. Most guys would find this to be a good thing......Not me! I think i've been checked out more times than movie star dudes and it's by the same people so it's not as if I look great or anything but they pretty much torture me! Plus they leave me at the chair thingy sometimes and go to talk with their friends I mean it they'll just go talk to someone else and i'll be waiting patiently for minutes and minutes.

Muhahahahah. I hate them with a passion, but that's just because of mine. I'm sure there are good orthodontists out there, I just got the short end of the deal. the scenario with sanokidsasuke is pretty much the same with mine. In both the dentist and the orthodontists office. >_< the dentist ladies treat me as if I'm there lost son or lost husband. allways commenting on my looks, which I don't think are that great. then to top it all off, they say they'll be back in just one minute, half an hour later they reappear. then the orthodontist is worst. the orthodontist worked on braces, dentist just on cleaning teeth, to differentiate. first time I go in to see the guy, who's face is hard to look at because of the scar on his lip pulls it up into an almost snarl, and he's allways smiling. He only wanted the money though, so as long as my foster agency handed out the dough, I had to keep the braces on. for four years! Plus the guy wasn't exactly careful. He cut up my gums when cleaning my teeth, which were already clean. this caused serious damage and I was forced to have surgery twice to repair both teeth and gums. first time nearly broke two of my teeth. I had to get fixed right away or perminantly have large gaps in my smile. Other time was novacane over dose on my lips instead of my gums. I could feel every ounce of pain on my gums still when they were cutting away, but I couldn't feel my lips. they felt like a big bubble, so I kept biting down nearly as hard as I could on the object that was in the way. I had to get stitches for that too. so yeah, I really hate any one messing with my teeth but me.

I hate the Dentist.
Okay, maybe not the dentist's personality (Hes really nice), I just hate what he does to my teeth...
Having a big needle poke you in your mouth hurts...
Not to mention since i drink lots of milk its harder for my teeth to get out, so they have to pull harder... >< It hurts!!
