Favorite Non-Final Fantasy Rpgs
As the title says, this is for any game that is not Final Fantasy and there better be no whining about how Final Fantasy is this or that.
Guardian's Crusade ,Megaman X : Command Mission ,Earthbound 2 ,Digimon World 3, Megaman Battle Network 2, Parasite Eve and Azure Dreams.
You have'nt played an Rpg unless you've played Guardian's Crusade/Knight and Baby.

i liked the breath of fire series, legend of lufia, chrono trigger the best. but i basically like any RPG made by square-enix..since there all so great

I have so many...XenoGEARS, Star Ocean, Wild ARMs, Shin Megami Tensei, and Deus Ex, if you count it. It really is a first person shooter/RPG hybrid, with leveling, multiple endings, a branching skill and story path, sidequests, and just about anything else RPGs typically have save for parties.
Well, I just don't want to be a part of something I don't approve of anymore, and haven't approved of in a long, long time.

lets see...star ocean 2 and 3...legend of legaia...legend of mana...suikoden 2...legend of dragoon...does pokemon count as a rpg? if it does then red, blue, yellow, leaf green,fire red, gold silver, and crystal

YOU MEAN THERE ARE ACTUALLY RPGS OUT THERE OUTSIDE OF FINAL FANTASY.......NO! Well, now that I've seen a few intelligent people around here, I would have to actually say that Diablo is my favorite rpg outside of Final Fantasy. Or maybe Thousand Arms, that game was sweet.
Its supposed to be a challenge thats why its called a shortcut, if it were easy it would just be the way.

Oh yeah, Pokemon is an RPG as well.. That Robopon game and Medabot games were pretty fun as well.
I think fable on the xbox is my favourite apart from ff.

Lets see Legend of Dragoon was cool Chrono Trigger, all the megaman battle networks, Xenogears, and Kingdom Hearts were all cool.

Ok, let's think here. Star ocean series ('till the end of time was just a horrible game.), Shin Megami Tensei series, Wild Arms series (The third was just...udder crap). Then we can swoop back in and go to Xenogears, Xenosaga (the second had way too many cinemas, i want to play a game, not watch a movie.), Suikoden Series (The fourth was just not that good.), Saga Frontier series, Shadow Hearts Series, Digimon (The first one), *Thinks* Hm. The .hack// series (If that's considered), The Legend of Dragoon, LEGEND OF LEGAIA? Grandia 1 and 2, Chrono Trigger (Not chrono crusade, that game sucked.), Breathe of Fire series, Dragonquest...Switch it up and REMIX to Parasite EVE (Not EVIL, EVE), and Gaurdian's Crusade. That's all i can think of off the top of my head. Maybe thousand arms, but that's pushing it.
To those who think square enix games are good - Get a life, they suck, learn to play better games.

And anything of the sort...Please sit down and shut up. Those aren't RPG's, they're either action/adventures, Strategy/Tactic Games, Or HORROR. (With the exception of Kingdom Hearts, Which was in fact an action/RPG, but still sucked just as hard.)

- Fable.
- Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.
- Kingdom Hearts.
Those are the only RPGs I like that are Non-Final Fantasy.
