I think it's about the end of 2006. PS2 is better than GC. I dont even think they make GC games anymore.

ps2 is best. GC is mainly for kids and dosnt have too many good games to begin with.

the game cube games are all good quality not like the ps2 where u get bad ones
the graphics are just as good on a game cube
and u can play old classics like
sonic
zelda
and not forgetting ff crystal chronicals

I'm in a vocal minority here, but I chose Gamecube all the way. I do like the PS2, don't get me wrong! I just think that Cube is so much better designed (ie. will not break down easily), and I am a nintendo fan and always will be!

Playstation 2 has an infinitely larger library with a steady influx of games, an infinite warranty provided there's no tampering, much better online support, and a controller that's actually conducive to complicated button inputs. Yeah, we'll go with that.

GC and PS2 shouldn't be compared by the games. The PS2 games are mostly meant for 1 player games that are high detailed and really cool to play. GC is more for the attachments like the GBA and it leans more to multiplayer like Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. 2. They are practically on different categories if you really think about it.

But due to my ownership of a PS2 im voting for Ps2 over GC.

I like meh gamecube but i like my ps2 as well, I like my gamecube because I'm gonna get the new zelda game, that game is gonna rule all the other gamecube games...except maybe super smash bros. melee.

Nintendo has some great sets of games that only come on its consoles like Mario and Zelda. Most games that I want that dont come out on Nintendo consoles I cant normaly get for my PC any way!

Well...i have a Playstation 2 and a gamecube and i would have to say that ps2 would be better with the graphics card...but then again nitendo has some pretty Average grahpics...but ps2 all the way! ;-)
