Bleach

Is it me or haven't alot of people heard of this anime which came last year in japan...It also has a manga. For all you people who think this anime is the hair product it's not -_-;

Bleach is about a 15 year old boy called kurosaki ichigo, who can see spirits.

he becomes a ''death god'' via someone called rukia (a death go herself) so he has to battle beings called ''hollows'' which are basically soulds that never made it to soul society (a version of heaven). a hollow looks sort of a like a big shadow with a bone type mask, and it is missing its heart.

and it basically goes on from there. can't really say too much else as it will spoil it, but its safe to say, there are some great characters in this anime and their are loads of funny moments as well.

It rocks XD..Has anyone else heard of it or watching it?

Yes I read the first Manga and thats it^^;....BUT!!! I have heard of it and its a good one ^_^

The Anime to begin with isn't very good; perhaps the first 15 episodes, But Its growing on me. I have read up to chapter 172, the whole soul society part is excellent stuff can't wait to see some of the Manga to be animated!

Yeah i can't wait to see it aswell ...It's up to Episode 25 at the moment...and it's really starting to get intense

Its just a shame I know whats going to happen, Some interesting BanKai's... But Ichi's is very cool.

I have read volumes 1-5 of the manga and seen episodes 1-17 of the anime. I'm really enjoying the series and the opening theme tune is pretty catchy. I can't get enough of the series but lets hope that they don't liscence it any time soon.

*Cough* This hasn't been released in america yet. Yes, the Manga's are out, yet the manga in japan (you can find people who redo it in english) is at chapter 199. Not 17. The ANIME itself is on 54, which will be released next week on tuesday. 52/53 combo was one of the best anime episodes i've EVER seen, and coming from me, that's a compliment. It drew me in the first three episodes. If you don't like an extensive and confusing plot line that isn't full of itself and pretends to be a plot, then watch it. It's quite possibly one of the best animes out there.

I hope to GOD that they don't bring the anime over to the united states - it will be ruined, just like naruto.

Thats what I got mad at in the US release manga... They called him, Ichigo "Strawberry" Kurosaki like strawberry is supposed to be his nick name... Lol. Funny stuff.

America doesn't ruin Anime. The fanbase and the obessions, causing the oversaturation of the market, that's what ruins Anime. (Just look in Hot Topic, you'll see how far just the general Anime obsession has gotten)

It's a good show, though not really wonderful or anything. I enjoy it though.
