Fire Emblem

Has anyone played it?It's a game series that was made in Japan,it began on the old Nintendo.The game takes place during the middle-ages(you know, when there were knights and stuff)If anyone has played SSBM,you probaly know that Marth and Roy come from this long series of games.Marth is from Fire Emblem 3,Roy is from Fire Emblem 8(Also known as Fire Emblem:The Sword Of Seals).It is a turn-based strategic RPG.If you've played Advance wars/2 it's sort of like that,you move all of your units first,then your opponent moves their units.Well...except for the face once you lose someone they're gone for good,you can't get another unit to replace them.They brought one of the games over to America,Fire Emblem:Rekka no Ken,prequel to Fire Emblem:The Sword Of Seals.They're planning to release Fire Emblem:The Sword Of Seals in america,dunno if they're planning to bring over the older Fire Emblem games.

What do you mean by random anyways?Another thing, the Fire Emblem that came out in america(not talking about Fire Emblem:Sacred Stones) is about the past, before Roy is born, and Roy's father is one of the main characters.

Fire Emblem is an excellent series, my personal favorite is Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken, but really they are all good!
I really love the art and sprite style of the GBA Fire Emblems, and I await Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for GCN.
Has anyone here played Fire Emblem 2: Gaiden? It is really good.

You are correct, a two episode Fire Emblem OVA was created a number of years ago. I have seen it numerous times and let me tell you, you are not missing much.
It was entertaining, but it is nothing special. It is about Marth and his companions by the way...

At last, Fire Emblem is getting the recognition that it deserves! It isindeed the best strategy series that I've ever played (WAY Better than Advance Wars, despite operating on a similar engine). Great characters, excellent battle animations (at least for the GBA titles), and I love the simple yet clever RPG elements added in.

I am currently playing the Sacred Stones, and I am quite impressed so far. I cannot wait for the Path of Radiance.

I did play the first one on the GBA Well done stories for Hector, Eliwood, and Lyn but I have yet to get Sacred Stones. And the Battles where so much more precise especially if you where trying to achive a specific goal in certain missions.

i played it for the gba...the only thing that i thought sucked was that when a chracter dies they die for good

All I do is Reset the game if a character dies. The only thing I hate is in Path of Radiance, you can't reset. That's what I really hate about that...

Fire Emblem is a good game. but for some reason i can't beat the last battle no matter how hard i try

All I do is Reset the game if a character dies. The only thing I hate is in Path of Radiance, you can't reset. That's what I really hate about that...

I've reset before. Just turn the system off and restart chapter.

I've gotten to the point where my characters almost NEVER die, and when they do it's because I did something stupid.Take today for example. I left mathew in the line of fire from 3 mages on chapter 20(talking about the GBA FR). I ended my turn...Not even thinking... "Oh ****...MATHEW NO!"

Chapter 20 is the ONLY chapter that annoys me. Why? Legaut. It's annoying as hell getting one of my lords too him in time.

As for Lords...Lyndis and Hector are God's. Eliwood hower...Is freakin' useless, I can't bring myself to use him...I just don't like him. On my current file.

Hector-lvl 18
Eliwood-lvl 9

I hate Eliwood.

Also, this is a spoiler(somewhat)

at the end of the game, when you must fight off Nergal, his generals, and the Fire Dragon.
I buzzed through all of the generals, Nergal, And the freaking Dragon with Athos, Lyndis, and persilla on Healing duty. XD

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is one of my most favorite RPGs. It has great graphics, music, story, and catgirls!
...Well, actually there's only one catgirl (not counting the generic NPC catgirls,) and she's a seething cauldron of hate.

Also, Mordecai is a BEAST!
