....on Bush's Inauguration. Yes Bush will spend 40 Million Dollars on his Inauguration Party, he has invited a few celebrities and ofcourse all his rich friends. With so much grief and disaster in the world right now (Tsunami, Poverty, Homelessness...etc.) the one thing on Bush's mind is...."FORGET THEM FOOLS, WE'RE GONNA PARTY LKE IT'S 1999!!"
May God save us all. Yeah I know some of you are tired of hearing how much Bush sucks and all but.....I'm not so there.

To be honest, I doubt that he will even be able to pronounce 35 small words correctly, let alone such big, scary words as faithfully and Constitution.

Oh yeah "dude", I'm like totally "embrassing" myself, can't you tell? I don't take offense seing as how you're only 13 years old and you're not mature enough to have a mature discussion on such a topic. My point was that at first US gave 15 mill. after critisism rose from other countries they raised it to 35 mill. critisism harshly continued so they raised it to 350 mill. Yeah that seems alot but it's nothing compared to 200 BILLION spent on "conquering" Iraq. And nothing compared to the amount other countries gave, which is in the Billions range. *V_G puts robofighter on his ignore list*

Someone i know commented that we should be celebrating America's funeral instead of Bush's inauguration.

(At school we watch the TV screen which shows the inauguration. [We have a great news channel at my school.]

Bush shoved the expense of the inaguration on Washington DC. as in the city to pay for it. Also that in there papers (washingtons) that it states most of the money being shelled out for the inaguration is coming out of the "Terrorism relief fund", to which the mayor of Washington, DC is not to happy about, nor that his city is also to help chip in the rest of the money. I read that while being in Washington, DC, yesterday while visiting the capital.

washington is pissed about haveing to pay, but the rest of the nation is pissed beacuse big name corperations are also makeing huge contributions to the party.(theory: contribution $ = bribe $ )

Yes, let's condemn Bush and all he does, heck Bill Clinton's inaugural only cost 30 million, but I'm sure everyone here knew that. The Inaugural celebration parties have been a long running tradition before even the great depression, what is Bush supposed to do, cut it out? Now I do think the price of it is very high, but these were largely donations given from companies that have supported Bush in the past, private money = how they want to spend it, like it or not it was given for that purpose and they have to respect that. As for the whole disaster thing, I don't know where you got your facts from, but the whole of Europe has contributed roughly 1.5 billion dollars, Japan has pledged the highest amount thus far for a single country, which is roughly 500 million dollars. Also as you pointed out, we are fighting a war, whether you like it or not. Oh yes and there's also the small detail of us supplying 32000 of the 40000 troops over there helping with the relief effort, which is the only real way any supplies are being disturbted right now, but I'm sure you knew that. And finally did anyone raise this kind of uproar when 138,000 people were killed in Bangledesh from a cyclone, no? Didn't think so, just another way to irrationaly show hate towards the President.

Bush may have spent 40 million, but we cant ALL say that ALL or MOST president couldnt have spent 40 mil as well. Think about Clinton, he spent less and there was no war, no tsunami, we had so many jobs back in the 90's.

True, true. I don't agree with George Bush on anything, but I'm not gonna drill it into anyones head. I do think that there are better and more resorceful ways to spend our money, considering we're already billions of $$$ in debt.

If we have so many unemployed people in America, why are we giving other nations so much money? We have more than enough problems in America as it is, we need all the money we can get now.
