Is Zelda getting Old or Not?

You mean is Zela getting old literally or getting old as in like, its boring... IMO, I think its more for the kids.. I dont mean to offend anyone who still plays it, my friend (age 19) just played that new mini cap game... o.O

But yeah... I say its for the youngins... When Zelda first came out it was for older people but as it evolved the graphics and gameplay remained so simple that younger kids could play... therefore i say... its for the youngins.... ^_^;;

Classics never get old. As long as the new ones don't go too much astray from the originals Zelda will be eternal.

There are some Zelda games that are wonderful, and some that just aren't. Ocarina of Time was perhaps the best Zelda game ever released;I refuse to get tired of it. It's a classic. But the follow up game, that was releases two years later, Majoras Mask, wasn't that good. It's too dang hard, and too short. Four temples is all it offers, and they are IMPOSSIBLE! I might as well try to breathe water than trying to beat the Snowhead temple!

But I liked the cell-shading on Wind Waker. It was very cute and something fresh; while I don't think all Zelda games should be that way, it was something new for the very old, yet classic series. It's like PB&J sandwiches; it will never get old no matter how many times you eat one.

I very much doubt Zelda will ever get old. Even if Nintendo decides to stop making the games, fanboys (and girls) will force them to bring it back.

So true in everyway but how is MM hard i beat it in 4 hrs tops. I agree Zelda is like PB&J and will never ever get old.

I agree that Zelda will get so old it will burn in the fiery depths of hell and I will be right there smoking its ashes. How big of an innovation is being able to shrink, seriously? Its an alright game if you haven't played another one before, or if you played a few before and thought it was alright. But Nintendo is pushing Zelda too far, and unless they can come up with something new, like a new main bad guy, or another character to be, or ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL, then it would be alright. But hands down, Ocarina of Time is the best Zelda game out there, and I doubt it will ever be beat at the rate Nintendo's going.

the windwaker wasn't that bad....i mean though the cell shading made it seem slightly childish it helped with all the glare problems i had when i was replaying MM and OoT......

you have to remember that the popularity of LOZ revolves around it's innovative puzzles....they make up for the story, because though the story is a classic, it gets old too fast.....

I'm sry but I've still got my nitendo *along with my XBox* but I still play it, Zelda will never go old, if the creators keep coming up with stupid ideas then yes, but otherwise no, people I talk to still say they haven't even beated Ocraina of Time but they love the games...What I don't get is why the name Zelda when Link is the main character? Come on who came up with that??? But otherwise- Zelda *and link* ^^ Live on! Case closed..

So you guys like Zelda for its old story line and crappy puzzles. Get an aroubix cube or something. Dynasty Warriors got killed for repeating the gameplay in its games and Zelda is no different. I could get really mad here and just flip on the game, but I have already done that many of times, so I will let it go and just say Zelda should stop being made FOREVER!!!
