Its Definitly Son Goku from Saiyuki. The only reason he's not a crazed blood thirsty outrageously strong person, is because he has a limit breaker that keeps him normal, but if he takes it off even the gods fear him.
Oh and Chrono Definitly a strong Devil (like me)

Here we go... Goku !! cause he has enough power to destroy a freakin planet! not only that.. but with the devestating spirit bomb, (which he can use all the power in the univers)he can kill anyone. And if he dies, he just train to be stronger in other world and come back to kick some *** . Akira Toryama made goku to be the strongest character in anime by giving him that move... and if an other anime character uses an even stronger move.. Akira made goku reach his form to ssj 4 where he can fuse with Vegeta and become the strongest being in the univers... i rest my case...(i mean look at that!! its a freakin Dragon behind him!! Akira made Goku a little too strong in my opinion...)

Id say it would have to be Goku. He is pretty much Immortal.. why? He dies, talks to that guy up in heaven, gets a ticket back to earth/teleports, kicks some more butt and if he dies guess what- De'ja'voo. Besides, there is no other anime/manga even in a freaking Battle Cruiser or spaceships bigger than planets- They blow up -_-. Brolly is strong but does he have the innate ability to teleport from heaven to earth after dieng countless times? Gokus Uncanny skills and little Fusion techniques make him more UBER than any other Anime in Existance. Yes, Akira DID make him too powerful. The show isnt any fun anymore because its the same as always- Goku kills everything in sight. Hence Goku is the strongest.
Oh, and one more thing. Im not voting for goku because i like DBZ because i find it too Boring to stand. Not to hate on Naruto (in which i do severely), He and Any other anime characters would kneel and be obliterated in front of Gokus Spirit bomb and/or Kameamea wave before they could leave the planet or get out of view- besides, goku can take a tank round and catch it or be exploded by it and not have a scratch on him, heck his hair isnt even Ashy. So think about it, Screw Naruto and DBZ will always be the PowerHouse of Anime. ( Down with DBZ&Naruto and up with Cowboy Bebop!)

u should pay more attention on watching the show of NG evangelion...Shinji is not a god but of what is going on in his head... dreams in other words...What he wanted, did not efect the real world he was in thats why he got mixed up in both. he wanted to be loved but he eventualy knew that he has to do things to be loved, he couldnt just be cared for if he did nothing. So he got what he wanted in his dreams. And he got what he thinked in his dream as well.... in the movie he was choosen to decide if the world was to still live with people Becuase he was just the piolit of the Eva 01, so the world was then gone because he choose that, only because he was the piolit of that eva.... i have the complete collection... so hes not like a god...and about Lain...what about the dragon balls... even if she were a god, what about the dragon balls... one wish is all they need, then u can say bye to that "god"...btw even with that didnt work.. goku would not still be dead... he would probably be sent to any other demension, then he can easly get out... ( pratacly goku cant die for any thing, and even if he does he'll just come back from other world were other gods are, and othose other gods, like king kai or serpreme kai can train him or give him god powers... and dont think those gods can die, cause they cant... Kid Buu on his last from tried to kill them, but he could only absorb them,and thats how he was in all those other froms.... i'm telling u, Akira Toryama made goku to stay the strongest in anime thats why he probably continued to make dbz and dbgt to show that he can not be betten by anyone... he defeated all the strongest villans in the univers for a reason... Akira Troyama made them just to fight goku. And thats why.) Couldnt all u guys tell how Goku was just an ordanary boy with a tale that can turn into a monkey in Dragon ball, and when it came to Dragon Ball Z the story was all so different... how he was a part of the strongest beings in the UNIVERS!!! that explains it... thats why goku is the strongest... HE was meant to be the strongest after he made dragon ball.... -sigh's- there i finaly said it...
