Information or comments on the Tsunami?

Can anyone give me any information on the recent Tsunami, I am doing a World Cultures project and I need some pictures and facts so if you can help me post on this thread or pm me please.

I dont have facts or pictures but i believe its sad that all those people died and stuff.My friends and stuff say its a sign the end of the world is near.

Well, the Tsunami hit Thailand the worst, in a place called Phuket. Over 100,000 people have died. Well, that's all I know.

pretty much any seismic events site should have info(Note: if the site referes to it as a tidal wave chances are its an old source

I heard that they have found absolutely no animal carcasses in any affected area. Every single animal there was headed for high ground before the quake started. There were some instances where tourists were riding elephants for fun, and suddenly, the elephant would of run off, saving the tourists on it's back from the wave. Really. They have literally found zero anywhere.

*Rubs head thoughtfully* My teacher keeps on informing us about the countries that got hit with the Tsunami. From what I can tell... Or what I saw from the pictures... All those countries are in deep [removed]... A lot of people can die from diseases like malaria, stomach diseases, and I dunno what else 'cause I forgot, sorry. >.>;... It's a good thing I donated money to the Tsunami Relief fund.. I feel really sad about those people living there.

We all basicly heard the same thing. Lots of people died in a huge tsunami. I don't really know that much else.

ummm... i think i heard that the animals ran away b4 teh tsunami came and ya. i heard that the could could sense the tsunami b4 it actually hits.....
and my class donated about 500-700 dollars and my skewl donated about 300 dollars
