Two things of which I am proud

Yes! This is my 3,000th post. I finally made it. It feels as if I have been stuck between 2,000 and 3,000 for forever. But anyways, here I am.

The other thing of which I am proud is the fact that I am now starting to make posts that are more relevant to topics... well, sometimes at least, but it's an improvement. I'm still working on it. Regardless, this thread can be deleted whenever someone feels like deleting it, especially as it will probably only be used for spam anyways. I'm proud to be a part of this forum society, and I hope I can one day be considered one of the 'old timers'. Heh.

I feel I must clarify something here: when I said that I hoped that one day I might be considered one of the 'old timers', I said so meaning length of membership, indicating my desire to stay here as long as possible. It has nothing to do with the fact that I now have over 3,000 posts. The only reason I look at my post count at all anymore is because it has become something of a 'measuring stick' to me, per se. What I mean by this is, I compare my current posts with those I made when I had only 2,000 posts, or 1,000 posts, and note the difference in quality. Then I decide how to further change my posts in order to make them better in general. One thing I have been working on is length; another is relevance; yet another is acceptability. I really want to make my posts as meaningful and enjoyable as possible, and while I realize that my current posts are far from perfect, I am nonetheless striving to better them daily. I sincerely hope that one day I can make a post to which the general response will be, "That is a great post. I wish I could post like that." Of course, the day that happens is far from being soon, and perhaps will never come... but I will continue to attempt to reach that goal regardless, and I hope that this will be appreciated in some small way by at least a few people. This forum has become my life, as I have said on a few occasions before, and as such, I have started to put more thought and effort into each post. I truly appreciate everyone's criteria and opinion, and I encourage it because I know I need it. Thank you all for your time and for reading this.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I believe that the main reason I am proud to have 3,000+ posts is because it shows my dedication to this site. I know that I have spammed some in the past, and I know that I still do on occasion. That is something I am still working on. However, the majority of my posts were made out of my love and addiction to this site, and I feel I can say that with a clear conscience. I know some of you, perhaps many, will not believe me when I say that, but I stand by my words. I love this site, I love the topics, and I love all of the members here, every one of you, including the moderators and administrators. I hope to remain here for the rest of my life, or until this site ceases to exist (although I hope I die before that happens).

I only spammed a little (nose grows longer) when I was a nOOB. Nowdays, I don't spam (too much). The number of posts don't matter to me, though 7,000+ posts is VERY impressive. I just look at what the post sayes.
And Zero, I am very proud of you, and the fact I can now make toast without burning it.
