i made this thread to see how people like the new velvet revolver. So to all you rockers out there, i got a question. WHO'S BETTER GUNS'N'ROSES OR VELVET REVOLVER. Let your opinions be heard, so come one come all!

For the "then" times GnR is best, but for "now" times, VR all the way. I love the music they have, and the band seems to get along very well.

BTW, it's both Slash AND the drummer that were in GnR, right?

BTW, GNR is better for their time. In retrospect, you coulda given the lyrics to a trained monkey and he probably woulda done just as good a job, if not better than Axl Rose. *shrug*

Patience was a very good song. Axl let his ego get the best of him. I think the whole Mtv VMA's thing when a supposed GnR performed was really just Axl and a few other guys TRYING to be GnR.

I like Velvet Revolver Better... I never was a fan of GnR...

Guns and roses are much better than Velvet Revolver. because, you can't change what they had before, but it's not like there going to get back together, Slash even said that they wouldn't get back together with Axel Rose. I'm not surprised though, Axil was being an idiot. Velvet Revolver can never beat Guns and Roses!

Guns'n'Roses will always be better than Velvet Revolver for one reason: Velvet Revolver just doesnt have the magic Guns'n'Roses had. They will never be able to match up to the attitude of GNR.

exactlly. They can never bring back what they had with Guns'n'Roses. that magic will never be seen again, even if they do happen to get back together with Axil.
