What do you think about the new Zelda game that is comming out in late 2005 for Gamecube that has a mid-evil twist to it. What do you like/dislike and why?

I think the games going to be amazing , and I'm getting it the day it comes out. Critics, and the people at Nintendo said that the game is for the people that loved Ocarina, but wanted more of a challenge, and that's me in a nut shell, lol! It's suppose to be the first "hard" Zelda game, and I'm really looking forward to it, but I also heard it's coming out late 2005, so I'm gonna have to wait a bit longer then I wanted >_<

I've seen the trailer like 50 times! That game is gonna kick some major a$$! It's so hard to wait... It's been almost a year since a good Zelda game came out, and this one is gonna be so much better. Waiting really sucks. >_<

I personally was disapointed in Wind Waker, so I'm glad it'll be reverting to the n64 style zelda. I want to play.

hey, dont knock Wind Waker, its one of my favorite Zelda games. I appreciated the anime-like art style, even if it wasnt the most popular. It definitely brought the game to life and made for some very beautioful artistic scenes. I love that game. I shall love this new one also of course.

The Wind Waker is, in my opinion at least, proof that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover and to have faith in Zelda games, no matter how unorthodox the art style may be.

I am confident that Zelda 2005 will be even better, though

I have a similar faith in almost all of Nintendo's franchises, and they dont tend to let me down that often.

I'm not saying that Windwaker was bad, the gameplay was amazing, and the story wasn't that bad eaither, all I'm saying is that the graphix were far below the standards that Nintendo had set for Zelda games.

the graphics were actually far better, you just didnt like the style. Cel shading is very difficult to program and create the effects. the result was IMO brilliantly executed and in some casses absolutely beautiful. Just the character designs turned people off. If the characters looked different I dont think people would hate WW.

But with Zelda 2005, they're bringing back the Ocarina style, and that will be a lot better.

its alright if you dont actuallyl ike WW, I just wanted to clear up the fact that its not the graphics that are bad, but in your opinion the art style. Gamecube will never have worse graphics than previous systems, only different art styles.

What i like about Wind Waker is the music, especially the music when you first start off at Outset Island, it is very catchy. The only thing i dislike about WW is the islands, there is WAYYYY to much water.

You get sea sick? lol. I actually liked the water, and the travelling from island to island. I too liked the music, it's really peacful, and... dare I say... jolly ,lol.

Well of course it's jolly, it's a part of the Zelda series, and yeah, the music is really peaceful.

Has anyone heard of the new Zelda for GBA called Zelda the Minish Cap? It's coming out in january of 2005, but I already have it now. Just to give you guys a summary... type thingy:

It's about Link trying to save Zelda who has been turned to stone. He has to get the Minish people to fix a sword of ultimate power. In order to do so, he has to infuse the broken sword with the 3 elements (I think they are: earth, wind, fire). That's as far as I am right now. Sofar it's a good game, the graphix, I think, are very well done for a GBA game. The characters look like the windwaker characters, but it's 2D. I'm only in the first temple, but think it's safe to say that this isn't a very challenging game, but I do recomend it. ^_^
