Err, she was somewhat on the offense regarding my vocabulary and was slinging out words from Benovolent and its antonyms, etc. And in the end, she was refering to some alternatives I gave her.. I think it was something about nude pidgeon hunting, she were to choose the last alternative, latter in this case, as she said.
And since I find that word amusing, I use it now whenever I get the chance to annoy her :3

Yeah but for the same measure, correlate refers to the relationship between two entities whereas associate wouldn't imply the congruence (I use this term loosely) between the word you chose to use in the fabled 'italics' and thus the word I settled on due to the fact that all related synonyms would fail to accumulate such 'correlation'. (Heh, this is kind of fun isn't it?)
