well if you guys have read the manga of yu-gi-oh he kills people like burns them and thats awesome and i know that making anime for the purpose of selling merchandise sucks but yu-gi-oh is pretty cool i think... its just like this

Yugi: i play tangent wizard in defense mode and this card face down!
Kaiba: then ill play my blue eyes and attack you wizard!
Yugi: aha you fell for my trap! now you blue eyes is mine and i make up another rule that says that you lose and i win now gimme you cards!

^so basically they make up their own rules while playing i doubt all the cards do all that stuff they say they do.

Because its fun and profitable, yes that sounded very sad, but i have made lots of money from the card game, i made £200 from selling my playing deck (about 10,000 peso, $360) and then theres selling individual cards.

Well, Yugioh is okay, I guess. I just got bored of it, I suppose, so I don't watch it anymore. Sometimes I read fanfiction, though.

As for Duel Masters.... It's cute, in a kind of childish, cliched way. The jokes are funny in a sort of "that joke is so stupid it's good" way.

Most people i know like my cousins used to be obsessed with YuGiOh.
It must be the age 8-12 group, since they were around that age when they started to collect cards, and same with the pokemon fad.

I don't mind card game shows, as long as the story is good. Unfortunatly, that's just what those card game shows seem to be lacking.

Those yu-gi-oh episodes when they're in Yami's memory for example, are much better. Less duelling, more story now that's the way I like it!
