i think fushigi yugi is the best i mean i love the book
My favourite anime book would be the Gundam Novel Trilogy "Awakening", "Escalation" and "Confrontation". These were written by Yoshiyuki Tomino right after he finished directing the original Gundam TV series. It serves as not a mere retelling of a work he felt was heavily compromised for merchandising purposes, but rather his purest vision of the Gundam universe, and is far supirior to the TV series and Movie trilogy.
