How many files do you have?

Everything is said in the title.

I've got 1,193 files at the moment and growing by a few every other day. You'll find some stuff from Manson and Beethoven while also coming upon Big n' Rich and Sting.

So what have you got on your computer? How much space are you taking up so that you can listen to your tunes?

I don't have very many files on this computer, or even on my other computer, as I've had the internet for a small amount of time. About sixty something for this machine. Most of the stuff I listen to, however, is on the radio, which I record onto tapes.

I usually can't find any of that stuff on limewire. Take RX Music for example, or DJ Keoki's Kill the DJ Album, which has a wicked remix of Blur's Boys and Girls.

I also can't find "I Want to Be Your Sedate Man" which is a mash between the Ramones and the Beatles, otherwise I would HAVE IT.

On my other computer I only have/had four hundred or so files. I delete a lot of what I get, and I don't download stuff I can hear on the radio every two minutes.

I'm sort of picky.

And it's not like I'll ever find We of Sound Mind on the net. ¬_¬

So roughly around four hundred music files.

Anything from "Memories" to "Closer".

Have you tried using WinMx? I recommend it to everyone who asks, or is having trouble finding files. I like the fact that WinMx doesn't give you all that bullcrap Kazaa does. No pop-ups, no browsers. Simply the program. So far i've found every file i've ever searched for-of course sometimes you have to wait in line for something rare.

Yeah, same thing limewire does, mars. Also, limewire is ORGANIZED.

Yikes... How many...? Probably well over five thousand. ^__^;; I've copied everything to disks though so it's on about I don't even know how many disks.... But a lot. ^__^;;

My hard drive isnt that big, so I don't keep a large number of tracks on my computer at one time.

When it comes to music files, I have about 4,375 MP3's right now, consisting of like 9.7 GB on my 40 GB Hard Drive. Not bad for five months on my new computer.

Problem is, I only had time to listen to 3,000 of them a couple of times. I'll weed them the rest out eventually, had about 5,900 at first lol.

And how did I get so many songs?? Well um... just d/l random ones on Limewire lol. To no surprise, only maybe 10 of my songs are from actual singers <Kylie Minogue and Michelle Branch, thats about it!> The rest are asian related, game related, dance, etc. ^_^

I just love it!! Music is the key to your soul if you listen to the right ones.And to d/l songs from this forum gets even better. There are so many songs still out there that just plain rocks! I gotta admire that...
