    Default Anime in Theaters

So what anime have you seen in theaters?

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Author of "Slasher School Days", "How to Be an Anime Character", and "The Complete Lesbian Storybook" available from Amazon.com

    The Colors Within looks interesting.

    Me?

I've seen most of the Studio Ghibli films in theaters.

I remember I was going to see Princess Mononoke in theatre (not on release, just a rerelease), and I spesifically bought tickets for the sub. At the first word spoken we heard that it was the dub, so we walked straight out to talk to staff (I promise Im not a Karen), and when they checked their system they found out that the dub just wasn't there. So we had to get our money back and watch it on blu-ray at home.
Havent seen too many anime movies in theatre, as they are not easily available where I live, but have been to screenings with movie clubs to watch a lot of the ghibli movies and such.

I prefer to watch foreign movies, including anime, with the subs. I like to hear the voices of the original actors. But with an anime, I don't mind the dub. Sometimes the sub is not available.

I prefer dubs where they stick to the script and don't edit or censored everything

Preferably, though sometimes difficult when a Japanese word has no English equivalent.

BTW, there is a new anime film opening here this weekend titled The Colors Within, although I think it has been out for a while. I just can't figure out where it is playing right now.

Clayton already posted a trailer for that anime film in the first post.

Furthermore, that title sounds a lot like a poem I wrote in the 2000's (2002?) called The Inside Colors. I hope everyone reads it one day . . .
