Anime Manga Explosion

For those of you in the US, do you have NHK on your cable system? If so, look for a show called Anime Manga Explosion. Each episode is a profile of an individual artist or a studio. I found it interesting.

That sounds great. However, I don't have NHK as a cable channel. I would love to see mangaka profiles, as most anime are spun from the womb of manga, which are the children of legendary writers/illustrators. Anime studios, like Toei Animation (Digimon, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Sailor Moon, etc.), definitely need a spotlight. Thanks for the tip!

The DVD player on my laptop is all snuffed out. It can still play music, though . . . Or it could just be voodoo that stopped me from watching the Digimon movie I bought.

I want to watch a newer season. Digimon is STILL a viewer-carousel. What kind of monster would neglect such a franchise? It is time for a phenomenal comeback!

Anime Manga Explosion has not had any more episodes since I started this thread. I guess I found it too late.

Anime Manga Explosion returns this coming weekend with a show on Beastars. I will watch.
