What's your favorite anime?

I noticed there's a similar thread on the forum, but it hasn't had any new posts for a while. My favorites are Cowboy Bebop for its amazing storyline and style, Death Parade for its deep philosophical themes and atmosphere, and Mushishi because of its incredibly beautiful world and calm, almost meditative vibe.

I would have to say those I watched years ago, but have not seen since, but which still stick in my mind. For example, Boogeypop Phantom and Lain.

How do I explain Boogeypop Phantom? It's dark and weird, and. . . . You need to watch it for yourself.

It’s hard to say now because so many series are out.

My number one will always be the Dragonball series. Currently digging One Piece. I’m on vacation right now so I’ve been watching Call of the Night and The do-over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor.

I also have a soft spot for Ah! My Goddess. One of the anime series I started watching around the time I joined this site.

I’d have to go with Yugioh, no matter what I watch it still remains one of my favorites. It was one of my first animes, and I have pretty good memories of it. Also the characters look rlly cool, probably why I even got so hooked.

My favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It's full of action, deep themes, and great characters! Also, dogs are amazing animals!

I think most FMA fans prefer Brotherhood to the original series, since in Brotherhood Ed and Winry get together and have a family.

You are referring to Conqueror of Shamballa, the movie that was to complete the original series. I thought it was fairly good. Not great, but entertaining.

Well, I've watched death note 17 times, maybe that's my favorite anime, but I also got other that I like as I like death note, like Hunter x Hunter.
But death note is the only anime that I bought the manga after watch and also read it!

Tokyo mew mew and pokemon (1997)...I find tokyo mew mew cute and eternaning at the same time,and pokemon wins at the comedy,For horror vampire princess miyu (1988) is amazing It doesn't made me pee in my pants and is not that horror But have a interesing atmosphere,But my favorite is Tokyo mew mew (2002)

Have you ever seen the three Death Note live action movies? The first two are based on the series, but with some major plot differences.

If so, the Death Note live action movies I am referring to are:

Death Note
Death Note: The Last Name
L: Change the World

I had to go back and double check this, and I see where since these movies came out, there have been other spinoffs.

These are not exactly examples of great cinema, but they are entertaining enough if you are a DN fan. They do take a different perspective on the story and characters.
