I have not watched any anime involving the culinary arts, because Fighting Foodons was not an anime (was it?), but I've heard of Delicious in Dungeon and Campfire Cooking in Another World. I think the latter looks quite awful and the former inventive. Eating monsters? At least the story is different.

I've seen Food Wars; I think the first two seasons. It started off pretty good, but then I tired of it. It got too repetitive with competition after competition, and little in the way of plot development.
