Any fan of Asian Dramas? Which type of Asian Dramas do you like?
Kdrama, Cdrama, Jdrama, Thai drama or some other Asian dramas?
Why do you like them? Do your family and friends share your love for Asian dramas?

What are some of your favourite Asian dramas?

For me, I am a fan of dorama (Japanese drama). I like shows like GTO, Gokusen, Hana Yori Dango.

I prefer dorama to Kdrama or Cdrama because of its length. Dorama usually lasted less than 13 episodes.

I do occassionally watch korean and chinese historical dramas. I particularly like Hur June, Dong Yi (Kdramas), and three kingdoms (Cdrama).

My mother loved Kdrama, but I am alone in liking dorama (Japanese drama).

I love Japanese dramas. I think the one that really hooked me was Densha Otoko. After that I was totally in. Now that I'm a lot older I tend to love the food dramas. Things like Kodoku no Gurume, Mentsuyu Hitori Meshi, and my favorite Banshaku no Ryugi. Once every few years it is fun to go back to the otaku dramas though. Got to love Akihabara@deep . It's just such a classic! Also a great movie and novel as well.

I love love love K-Dramas but it is very hit or miss for me.
Most of them miss for being too corny, but when it hits, I will binge the entire series within a week.
I am a sucker for romance comedies with drama and I dislike shows that focuses on the drama and only on that.
I have put on friends on K-Drama as well and I suggested them the most popular show (I think?) which is Boys Over Flowers.


My favorite Asian dramas are Playful Kiss, Boys Over Flowers, and Secret Garden.
