Though I do watch anime, I am do not read manga. However, I did read the Eureka Seven manga. What makes it so interesting is that it is much different than the anime. If I am not mistaken, this is one of the rare instances where the anime preceded the manga. An I correct?

The movie Eureka Seven -- Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers has nothing at all to do with either the original series or the manga. It was still interesting to watch. I have not seen the other E7 movies.

First off many manga are released in Japan and NEVER here even when the anime comes out.

On the other hand shows like Oh My Goddess, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Helsing were all released as anime before the manga ended
