Nope anime is something I just watch and this forum feels abandon by the management. There's another anime forum which feels more inviting and looks better. If I could I would delete my account here which should really be a thing it would prevent issues.

Not trying to advertise here but => https://animeforums.net It looks really good and has multiple themes for users to choose from. It has an Owner who has shown care for the forum and has community managers to ensure a better place.

I might try it out if things here get too dead. Then again, it does sound familiar. The forum I was on before this one, years ago, had a bunch of anal retentive dicks running it. I'm wondering if this is that forum.

idk much about it except that the owner seems to want it to succeed and be active. like I said anime is something I'd rather just watch than engage in community with.
