I don't know 'bout you, but the Inuyasha anime is one of my faves from the 2000's. Inuyasha himself is quite obnoxious and wait, hold on, "sit!"

I enjoyed it up through the first 70 or so episodes. After that, it got redundant. I still kept watching it though, being curious as to how the saga ends. It was difficult, but I stuck with it until the non-ending ending. The Final Chapter was OK.

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Yashahime did breath some life back into the franchise. I don't know how long that will last. I guess season 3 is forthcoming.

A 3rd season will be good if the creator Rumiko Takahashi steps in as head writer. But I think she's presently occupied with the manga Rin-Ne. And I'm positive that got an anime adaptation too.
