Pointless Plots

Q: Which plots were absolutely pointless and led to a terrible conclusion/wrap-up?

I guess the classic example would be Neo-Genesis Evangelion. The last two episodes gave the audience one giant WTF?

Bleach had several plot points which were never completed. There was the relationship between Uryu and his father that stands out. What happened there? Nothing?

Trinity Blood ended prematurely after the main character, Father Abel, dies and then is resurrected. He then goes off to fight his enemies, and the series just ends. No conclusion or resolution. The main producer apparently died, and no one wanted to take over. Thus the entire series became pointless.

The plot is irrelevant as far as FLCL is concerned. It's just mindless fun and satire. Don't try to make sense of it.

Pokemon has zero plots. The two goals that they set for Ash Ketchum were unattainable in the end: be a Pokemon Master and catch 'em all. That anime is sooooo pointless!

I said BEFORE! During and immediately afterwards when I spent ten minutes making confused and inarticulate sounds staring wide eyed into the void of insanity is not the same thing. Since it aired on the same day the only thing that got through was Blue Gender and "Why do the monster's mouths look like vaginas?"
