It depends on how narrow you want to define Shonen.
Is Boogeypop Phantom Shonen? The main characters are female, but it is a pretty bloody series.
Tiger and Bunny? I guess that's Shonen. There is a lot of both action and comedy, as well as the personal stories of the characters.
