Cooooooolllllll AF <3
Lacking refinement, but already something I've spent far too many hours on at this point and my canvas file corrupted immediately after saving this so lmao
Massive diptych styled illustration of the leading idiots in the fantasy/horror novel me and a friend are writing.
Finally made up a reference sheet for my local man-eating loot goblin and her stolen hoard of plot relevant goodies.
For any folks that might be interested, my friend and I are in the process of editing a final draft for a fantasy thriller novel about man-eating mermaids, featuring Marella here and a particular beefy ginger man yall've seen before.
Any enterprising beta readers with a good mind for feedback and critique, inquire within!
@Lyndis :Great art, and best of luck to you!! Good vibes!!![]()

Man eating mermaids? What about a man eating chicken?
I'm not sure how a man would eat a mermaid.![]()
@Lyndis : Got any new stuff you want to share? We're anticipating awesome, lit stuff!!![]()

Reference sheet commission for an X-men fan character, Gimmick.

I don't always make fanart, but when I do it's of a niche IP from nearly twenty years ago that left a devastating scar on my psyche.

How is that graphic yet poignant and beautiful to the eye at the same time? You hit it outta' the ballpark with the duality of normalcy and pain. Was that what you were going for? Nevertheless, thumbs up for this piece!!![]()
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Normalcy and pain is a good read. Acceptance in the face of losing and gaining everything.
At the end of the movie he switches from his white lab coat to a deep red one while the song 'Everything You Ever' plays in the background. The first line of which is 'Here lies everything, the world I wanted at my feet'. He's finally clutched all the power and control that he'd been desperately chasing, but only at the cost of burying the one thing he truly cared about.
Sometimes getting exactly what you want is the worst thing that can happen to you.
Who is the character in the last picture?
Reference sheet commission for a teenage wannabe gunslinger, Byron.

With the utmost respect to you, I wouldn't call someone with aspirations a "wannabe," not even a fictional character conjured by the mind. I'd say . . . Byron's quite the dreamer. This is great work, @Lyndis .
