As an anime fan I have of course intentionally lent out anime DVDs to turn other people I know into anime fans. Come on, you didn't hand your Miyazaki collection over to a "friend" so they could say "it was alright but I prefer..."




So I got to thinking. Total Recall. Eternal Sunshine of the Forgotten Mind. The Stepford Wives. MEN In Black. We know brainwashing is possible. MKUltra was decades back. The tech has to have advanced since then.


What brainwashing and mind control technology exists today? What would they be using it for? If it was used on you, would you even know? Or would your automatic response be "I've never been brainwashed and the idea is ridiculous." Here try the scopolamine.



Some people claim for example that you can be turned gay. others that you can be turned straight.
How do you know your search engine is actually giving you all the things you are looking for and not picking and choosing which ones you deliver?

I really wonder where we'd be as a society/world without TV/Movies. - Possibly the same place, but I wonder. And I love TV and Anime obviously but I wonder.


I don't know for sure that I'd call it outright brainwashing, but different shows have certainly pushed different things over time.


But as fair as brainwashing.... I dunno why, but this has been stuck in my head lately:
