    Default Non-Region DVD players

Fun fact: a lot of anime, even stuff that aired here, isn't available in our country, but is from others. But most DVD and Bluray players are coded so you can only watch stuff available here.

Anyone else have a non-region DVD player so you can buy stuff made in say England and watch it?
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Can you change the region coding on your PC?

Most DVD players have a hidden function that allow you to change regions... that you can probably find with a quick google of your model. I remember doing it to make region 1 DVDs run on my region 2 player by changing the player to region 6 (plays all regions). However, they've done some funky stuff with Blu-Ray and now it doesn't work for BDs, which is pretty rubbish because for some reason Japan decided they didn't want to be in the same region as me anymore...
