two sentence horror stories

it's a thin line between safety an unspeakable danger. For those that don't know there is a show called Two Sentence Horror Stories which begins with one seemingly harmless sentence and hen after you watch the horror adds another to screw with your mind. personally i thought the first season was the best and the newer ones are a bit predictable in comparison.


So, how would you turn the first sentence into a nightmare with the second?

Examples:

I feel so safe snuggled up in my bed.
[spoiler]If only i was allowed to leave.

or

Until I realize I'm not alone. [spoiler]

That puppy was so cute.

 

Even with the finger sticking out of his mouth.

i saw a missing person's poster today.

 

It had my face on it.

A girl took her girlfriend to the zoo for her birthday and while they were there they came across a dead elephant. They were just wondering what could have possibly bitten it's head off like that when they heard a noise behind them.


I like to lay out at night and count the stars. It's so much easier to do since the Old Ones awoke.
