Is non-hentai anime too sexualized?

So since about 90% of female anime characters look a lot like they shop for bras in the same place as Jessica Rabbit and the guys are built better than Superman, do you think anime is too sexualized? Do they focus too much on ecchi in the plots?

Or do you take the opposite track? Is it just sexy enough? Not sexy enough?

Not actual hentai, but the rest of it. Anything from 143+ to Ecchi or 17+

Some anime do go overboard with female breasts. Actually, I don't find humongous breasts that sexy.

Yeah, just like many forms of pop media nowadays. It sucks and all it does is cover for low quality effort and mess with people's subconscious.

Depends on the kind of show and its target. I do not mind at all, personally. It's not as if anime was not ideal in many other aspects to start with. If shounen is the genre, isn't it more common there, though? On the other hand, shoujo tends to give more handsome guys or beautiful girls instead of muscles and huge chests. I would say, it depends on the genre more than anything? Just an opinion, indeed.

Nah. As far as I recall it used to be worse about a decade or so ago, moreso if you go further back to maybe the 90s.
Either way, I never got the point. Nothing shown on TV will ever be as titillating as what you can find in about 1 second on nhentai.
