Has anyone seen this yet? What did you think and why? It looks interesting, but it seems to have gotten quite a bit of negative reaction.
Though just from this scene, the live action Edward needs some work:

I'm also curious to find out what people think and if it's worth watching!
Hmm, I haven't watched it yet, but I will watch it soon. I've heard different opinions.
I think it's a good attempt for the budget they had. It's an entertaining watch and feels more like a homage than an adaptation. Some of the casting choices are questionable and the anime-style slapstick stuff doesn't quite work for live action, especially with Ed. But the music still slaps so you can't go wrong there. The pacing is a bit all over the place. The most I can say is they tried, and it's not the most offensive adaptation of anime to live action I've seen. It's better than Death Note, but that's not setting the bar very high.
I will not support this.

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

I am not a fan for live actions at all, since I tend to believe that many typical anime gestures and manners do not look well on irl actors. But that's just me, probably. I am sure that there are people around who actually enjoy this kind of stuff. It is literally breaking the 4th wall in a different way, isn't it?
You know, when a live action is disappointing like this, I just end up feeling sorry for the actors. They get so much undeserved flack.
Don't worry. Some of the most demolished shows/movies wind up becoming classics. This one will probably be re-aired and critics will "all of a sudden" praise it. Years later, I'm super sayin'. Exhibit A: Family Guy.
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
BTW, I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

It's not exactly on the top of my must-see list anyway.

I like that they kept the opening, albeit it was live-action.

Lack of large easily viewable boobs. It'll get ya every time. That's why Pam Anderson had to get new ones after she had the breast reduction.

Cowboy Bebop is one of those anime series that has been beloved by many for its action-packed story and interesting characters. The live version will be coming soon, but what do you need to know before watching it? Here are some important tips!
^ Nothing?
Netflix Streaming dropped it.
