Anime Witches

What are your favorite anime characters who are witches? Any old, or young, witch will do. Let me start:

Robin from Witch Hunter Robin. A witch herself, Robin was raised in a convent before being sent out to help a team of witch hunters. I don't know about you, but I think she looks cute in glasses.

Medusa from Soul Eater. There are several witches in this series, but Medusa stands out. It's not that she's the main antagonist for the first half of the series, but that she is so wonderfully evil. She also qualifies for a Bad Anime Mothers list, if anyone wants to start one.

The girls from Tweeny Witches. OK, so this is a kids' anime. Still there is something charming about it. Mortal Arusu falls into the witches' realm and is taken prisoner. Put into the custody of student witches Sheila and Eva, Arusu sets out to teach the witches what magic is all about.

Vanessa from Black Clover. Just a supporting character, but a hot one. This ex-witch still has her powers, and is a member of the Black Bulls. She is easy to spot. She is usually half-naked and drunk.

Yababa and Zemiba from Spirited Away. These sisters could not be any more opposite. Yababa turns Chihiro's parents into pigs, and then makes Chihiro practically a slave laborer. Zemiba is kind and generous, befriending Chihiro.

She's a blonde Catholic with astigmatism who sleeps in the nude. Oh, and she is also a witch. What more do you need in a girl? She's Witch Hunter Robin.

A witch does not back down from a challenge, and that goes double for Vanessa of the Black Bulls. Well, maybe she should back down every now and then. From Black Clover:

Witch Hunter Robin is a terrible show! They're looking for a one eyed witch and are like, "Gee, I'll go ask that guy with one dead eye if he's seen anything. No? Well thanks anyway fella."


Do they have to be female? Or do you include wizards?

I liked Witch Hunter Robin. It was dark and full of interpersonal conflicts. Several characters remained suspicious of Robin since she was a witch, forcing her to continuously prove her loyalty.

I barely got through the first few episodes of xxxHolic. As I recall, it have some pretty dull characters. I just could not get into Fairy Tail.

Are you referring to Kiki's Delivery Service? I never saw that movie, though I really should. I have it on my Netflix list, but further down the list.

I didn't know Bleach had a sequel.

Are witches form video games involved there because Emma Milstein from the legend of heroes: trails of cold steel series is a very nice one if not I know that magical doremi is just a fun series for little girls.

I thought the whole point of this site was to discuss anime. If I ask a question, I want your answer. Not something from Wikipedia, Ranker, or Myanimelist.
