Because I have never owned a phone (not just a cell phone, any phone), a car, or had wi-fi in my own home. I could have and chose not to.

I have never owned a smart phone. My old cell phone is good enough for me, considering I only use it to call long distance, in an emergency, or while traveling. Other than that, I find it useless.

Phone: That's seriously limiting. A lot of online websites (banks, shopping, email, online services) demand a phone number.
Car: Do you live in the States?
Wi-Fi: Do you just connect a network cable to your router?

I have never owned... Well, I have owned a Kindle, Alexa (my family owned it and lost it very soon after), an iPhone, an iPad, androids, VR gaming set, mechanical keyboard, more than 3 different video game consoles and their controllers, refunded a roomba, and refunded a 360 camera.

I have never owned a smart watch, one of those quadcopters, a Raspberry PI, Arduino, hoverboard, or a 3D printer. They're on the bucket list.... for when I get around to it.

In some cities, you will never need a car. The trains in New York will get you to where you are going faster without a car. Chicago has a great transit system as well, not just the trains but the buses are reliable.

Ditto here. Somewhere I read that under-30's prefer old fashion books. Kindles are preferred by those middle aged.

I've never owned a smart tablet (iPad/android tabloids). Never had the interest since the smartphone/PC does anything just as good or better.

Sometimes it makes sense to get an inexpensive tablet so as not to kill the phone. If you spend a lot of time on the road - a tablet is a handy thing. But if we talk about reading books, then I prefer to take an e-book with me - it is light and thin, and at the same time holds thousands of books - you can read any one according to your mood.

I've never owned a watch. Always used my cellphone to tell the time, which I feel is probably more common these days. I've also never owned a car or house, and with the state of the economy I'd be surprised if I ever do lol

Same for me, except for my provisional. I end up watching the clouds, fields, trees, people walking about, etc. Much prefer to just sit on the bus or train and listen to music for the journey

I never owned them but in school we had their computers.

They had screens that were only green.

I have never owned anything Apple. (Uh... Technology, I have some Apple CDs... If you know you know...) Why pay more for something for a name brand, when a 30$ MP3 player works just as well? Infact my second MP3 player had a text reader on it. I would put fanfics on it and take it to work and read on breaks. Good times.


I have never owned any Xbox system. I haven't ever looked hard, but, there never seemed to be any game on there I didn't want to play, at least not one that was exclusive to it.


I have never had my drivers license. I have issues with my eyes. I'm considering getting my permit again though.
