    Default Mad Science becoming Reality

They called them ad at the university...

Okay so here's the deal. Mad Science is NOT science fiction. Dippel Frankenstein really did study alchemy with dead bodies in an attempt at immortality before his lab exploded and something escaped into the woods. Mary the Jewess an alchemist invented scientific devices hundreds of years ago still used today. Tesla invented a death ray and Wi-fi and if he hadn't come up with AC/DC technology would be radically different today. Edison invented the radio trying to talk to the dead. Actress Hedy Lamar invented fractals used in modern cell phones. Joseph Mengele's hideous techniques are still used in medicine today. In the 90s I remember reading they had combined human and rabbit DNA in China and cloning is so prevalent today it's actually illegal. It's even possible that AI exists and just doesn't feel the need to inform humanity. Some people still claim the Coronavirus was intentionally created and released.

So what "mad science" from anime do you think might become reality or already is and the guy who invented it is just in a bunker somewhere? They already built a Gundam and cyborgs are a real thing now along with glasses that work as computer screens. VR like in .hack? Android servants? Those capsules from Dragon Ball or actual Pokeballs? Real pokemon? Flying cars? Genetically modified humans? A real life Frankenstein's monster... or the girl from Weird Science? opening holes to other dimensions? Reverse engineering alien tech from the 40s?

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

    Time travel with a microwave?

    And Hedy Lamar did what?

Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.

Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.

Well in Seven of Seven a girl's grandfather captures a rainbow in a microwave, and split it and his granddaughter into seven different pieces, so time travel isn't that far off.

As for space travel, again we may already have it, but I suspect one it's perfected they won't bother telling anyone but who they want moving to another planet. As things stand I'm wondering how much air and water have already been shipped off Earth by NASA and similar programs around the world and how it affects the environment.
