Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

Hestia from Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
The gods are always on their best behavior, aren't they?
I will try to think of more later.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
Yato from Noragami is a minor god without even a single follower. But he puts his own existence on the line for the people he cares about.

Second attempt to post this.
From Lain. WARNING: Major, major spoiler.

From Lain, Lain matches wits with "God." But is he or isn't he?
There are no subtitles, but if you click on "CC" at the bottom you can get English captions.

How about your lease favorite anime god? Mine is Neo Ranga.
Three sisters who like to dance half-naked in the opening credits, the youngest being in grade school yet still has breasts, receive an inheritance from their older brother. This includes a nephew, kingship to an island, and a god named Neo Ranga who will do their bidding. Funny. I thought one was supposed to do their god's bidding.
Anyway, this anime series is a total waste of time. Try to avoid it.

From Spice and Wolf:
Holo the (sexy) Wise Wolf gets along with some people. Feel the sexual tension? She and Lawrence could possibly have earned a mention under my thread of anime characters who should really get together. Maybe they do later on. It looks like the story was heading that way. Unfortunately, I have only seen season one.

Just you huh? No wonder it's so hard to get people to vote. Or say, run as an independent.
I summon the Three Egyptian gods! Help us out here guys!

In Soul Eater, Death's status as a god is not too clear in the English dub. But in the original Japanese, he is called Shinigami, which means god of death. Still he does have to tolerate a lot of nonsense from those under him.

Sun Wu Kong... has anyone else here actually read Journey to the West?
Myoi in Bakemonogatari becomes a god in the novels...

In Kamichu!, 14-year-old Yurie becomes a god -- as if being a 14-year-old is not hard enough. Surprisingly, this is not a bad anime. Expect my write up in the coming week.

This is a tough one. I love anime that deal with Shinto themes.
Kamchi is an adorable anime, and it is one of my all-time favorites.
Kokkuri-san from Gugure! Kokkuri-san. An interesting Kitsune kami. I love the tankuki from the show too.
Madara from Natume's Book of Friends is also high on my list. A nice floof. I am still making my way through the series atm.
Buddha from Saint Young Men.

I only watched season 1 of RWBY. I don't remember it quite like your image. Good show, but I never got around to season 2.
