What is the best way to get out of a huge medical debt?
Pay it off.
You don't have insurance? Even Obamacare?

Die.
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

^ Death would be the best option, especially if you hate your heirs who would assume the debt.

If you are in the good ol USA, you could always file for bankruptcy and take the L and have bad credit for 7 years or you can get a loan from your bank to pay the debt off and take advantage of the low interest rates going on right now.
^ I was going to mention bankruptcy, but unless you are Donald Trump, that should be your last choice. For too many it is the first. Bad idea, per International's comment.

Listen to trump. You'll never need medical help again.

My mood on a daily basis
Well, if I were in that situation I'd simply get a second job with plenty of overtime opportunities and work my butt off to chase down my debt, as I can't stand the thought of any debt lingering over me. Then again, I'd avoid putting myself in such situations if I can help it. First off, I don't do credit cards and I don't do insurance because I believe both systems are generally scams in practice and by design, as they rely on a number of people getting into debt to begin with. Credit cards are a complete write-off for me; insurance on the other hand is good in theory, but in practice, it only works for the insurer if bills/damages incurred are within the margin of expectations set by the insurance company. Even then, an insurance company can worm their way out of paying out what is due through legalese that is purposed designed to confuse the layman.
In any case, prevention is better than cure in my book.
