Default Ishuzoku Reviewers - Junji Majima - Hanabira Ondo (Flower Petal Song) - Full Version

First of all, the majority of the song is taken from

    https://www.animesonglyrics.com/ishu.../hanabira-ondo

But since parts of these lyrics are missing (as always) and other parts are clearly NOT what they're singing (Eroi koto ga suki na yatsu, Kimochi ī koto ga suki na yatsu), I decided to put my version here, in hope someone will really look it over and not copy paste the everpresent net-version. Also, I am extremly unhappy with that "Yo loin o lois" part, but I cannot hear anything else, that would make sense. (And, also as always, that is one of the missing parts.)

Here's the lyrics (sorry, it's already karaoke style, meaning linebreaks on in-sentence breaks):

    Iyo!
    Aso-re!
    yoiyoi yoiyoi!
    Ishuzoku
    matomete
    yottoide
Different species come and gather round
    Soiyassa!
    Come on!

    Hitotsu hitohada koishii na
    futatsu futago no yama koete
One, I miss skin to skin contact, two, going over the twin mountains
    Muramura Mon Mon Mon
    "Ara okkii"
    Pent up urges
    "Wow, it's big"
    Mittsu midara na sono karada
yottsu shittori sukebe na o mame
Three, that provocative body, four, moist naughty bean
"Ano kyaku sanjuppun de san kai sen datte"
"That customer did it three times in 30 mins"
    "Eh, zetsurin!"
    "What?! what a horn dog"
    Mada ikeru sa... ...!
    I can still do more...!

    Eroi koto ga stress,
    Dirty thing are hard work,
    Kimochii koto ga stress,
    feeling good is hard work
    Zenin matomete... ...

At least to me, the romaji in the link you have posted seems pretty much right.
好きな奴 -> suki na yatsu ~~ skin'yats at speed. It is definitely not stress-- think about it, why would it be 全員まとめて出てこいや if it was stress and not 好きな奴. Also, looking quickly at the rest of the lyrics, there's no other english loanwords, so it'd be weird just to have one.

Also this bit you've written (I have no idea how you got this)
    "Yo loin o lois"
    "Ur loin ou' laws"
Sounds pretty clearly like "yo yoi no yoi!" (as the kanji suggests) and I don't think it really means anything, it's just something you call out.

There's a bit missing on the 4th and 5th verse from the bottom (omitted from the kanji as well), and some bits of the kanji that were omitted when they romanised it, but I would say there's not many problems otherwise. I'm not going to check your entire block of text for corrections (because you didn't point out exactly where you've made them and your formatting with transliteration and translation interlaced is not very easy to read through) but I suggest that you transliterate from the kanji and don't worry about the bits that are omitted.

unrelated but wow was this really aired on tv? this is pretty risque if not explicit

    Ah, "yo-yoi no yoi"'s perfect.
    That didn't enter my mind.
Akso s'kin yats(u) for the first line I changed sounds plausible. I just couldn't proceed, how what I read, should be similar to what I heard.
That said, the next line has the same kanji, but I cannot for the love of it hear any similarities, although I try to hear it this way. You sure, about it being the same? (It's about 0:47)

As for not worrying over omitted parts, that's exactly, what I CANNOT do.
You see, if I am singing along a song, I try to sing along every part of it, even if it's just a shout from a live version or some background vocals.

Because of this, when I karaoke-sub a song, I intend to put these things into it, because I definitely will want to sing them. (Usually that poses a problem, because background vocals are often omitted.)

Last, if the vocals differ from the actual written lyrics, I have to reflect that and change the lyrics OR find out, how I could sing the text in a way it sounds the same and try to reflect that in the subs.

    Thanks

Edit: As I said, it was already karaoke pre-formatted. I discovered, that putting the translation directly under the japanese lines, makes it easier timing it. (Besides, when I copy your subtitles for a vid, it turns out similar.)

I don't really see what's "plausible" about it. It's right there in the kanji (see here: https://www.uta-net.com/song/280312/ and here: https://utaten.com/lyric/qk19127080/) and so it is >99% the official lyrics, which are pretty much always sung as is (ok there's gonna be some いく -> ゆく and ている -> てる funny business going on here and there but ignoring small nitpicks). I see you are a AnimeLyrics Lv.1 user and so you should be able to romanise this.

As for what you're doing in filling out something that's not there... well it's not going to be an easy task. I quote from some people who are more experienced than me on this website:
Quote Originally Posted by EJTranslations View Post

Some songs don't have official lyrics published anywhere, in which case I feel a 耳コピ [copying it by ear] is justified, but that's pretty rare. (And then there's Sound Horizon, which has published lyrics but frequently leaves a bunch of stuff out of them or has things written differently from how they're sung, but they're... unique.) It's really not reliable to try to translate songs just based on listening to them--how many times have you misheard song lyrics in your own native language? It's a phenomenon so common that both English and Japanese have a word for it. And then if you're trying to transcribe songs in a language you're not fluent in, the chance of errors increases.

Edit: The high incidence of homophones in Japanese also makes this risky; even with access to the Japanese lyrics, sometimes while listening to a song I assume one meaning of a word and then fail to notice that the kanji used is something different.

... okay I can't find the other one so I can't say who said it. However, the argument was something along the lines "copying by ear is bad as an amateur because your ability to pick out words and sounds will be influenced by what and how many words you know in that language." so basically you may think you hear something right, but that's because you don't know better to know that it's wrong and it's a similar sounding word.

I would personally suggest leave it to someone who has more knowledge and experience, rather than basically making up something that sounds right.

Well, not every singer keeps to the written text. Or at least they castrate some parts of it beyond recognition or some syllables are there, but not worded clearly and nobody hears them. There's at least one pop songs in my native language facing that issue (suffice to say, this is the first thing I learned to be wary of/avoid, when I entered school choir).
Then I always have a hard time deciding, what to do.

When you know it's a language, where certain letters are omitted sometimes (like u in su/tsu) it`s easy, but in this case, this doesn't apply. At least with something like o/wo you can stick to how the singer does it and know you`re still in the right, also nobody writes ha instead of wa (I'll quote Fate here: "Just because you're right, doesn't mean you're correct").

As for the trouble hearing out the words of a non-native language like japanese, I know, I'm bad at this.

That's why I always try first to get some official lyrics in Romaji and when that fails, try to get a kanji version and translate that (I should have noticed, the yo-yoi part, but since they romanized all the other lines, I just assumed it wasn't there).
If all fails, I can only get creative and try by hearing myself or posting in a forum (like I did today) and hope someone takes the time to listen (I have some friends, who are more familiar with the language, but the few times, I asked, they didn't really try to help).

That said, you really helped out with the three lines in question. I think I will go with
    Eroi koto ga s'ki n'yatsu,
    Kimochii koto ga s'k'ya'su

That's the closest to the original syllables I can think of, that makes one able to sing this part. (Maybe I'll shorten/widen it, when I'm actually timing the syllables. I still got about 2 songs before that, which will take a while.)

Last note: Yes it was aired (in a censored and uncensored version) and Aniplex even made a subbed english version (they wanted a dub, but the english voice cast didn't play along). The Aniplex release was sacked after the third episode, though. In the end, it has some nice ideas and is fun to watch, though not for everyone.

I'll just add my two cents here...

In my experience, most mainstream and ani songs tend to be pretty on the mark with their lyric sheets. You can get most of the lyrics by what is officially made available.
The only time when this becomes a challenge is when a doujin artist is behind the work. Old versions of lyrics and typos can commonly appear in the official transcriptions, but that does not appear to be the case in this regard.

As for transcribing "は" as "ha" instead of "wa", it has been said numerous times on this site that that is at the transliterator's discretion, so long as they are consistent with it.

Stop. You should NEVER look for "official" lyrics in romaji when working on a song! That's where you will begin to find the origin of common mistakes. Your transliterations should always come from the official kanji lyrics.
Sometimes, yes... lines will be omitted. However, this does not mean that you can simply just add lines by ear unless you are confident in what it says, or the line that is missing is glaringly obvious.
If you are unsure, consulting with other lyric submitters here is probably your best bet and if no general consensus can be reached.... then that line should be left out, no matter how frustrating that may be. Believe me, I know. There's this one song that I was working on with lines in Greek that should clearly have been included in the main lyrics, but were forgotten. I was unable to determine what is said word by word, and even if I could guess, the version I assume wouldn't necessarily have been the same as the butchered interpretation of Greek by a native Japanese speaker.

What you decide to go with in your own subs in completely up to you, but please don't ever transcribe lyrics like this for this website. It's not the best of ideas and will just confuse readers.
Even knowing what you are trying to say with these lines here, you're confusing me.
Borrowed words are one thing, but you should always maintain the Japanese text in its original form where viable. I don't believe that this example warrants such a change.
